Archer Security Group Supports Cybersecurity Summit at Disneyland, Gives Away BB-8 Bots

The EnergySec 12th Annual Security & Compliance Summit held in Anaheim, CA features discussion and hands-on workshops related to industrial control system security.

The “Happiest Place on Earth” may also be the place where cybersecurity experts hammer out solutions for some of the toughest problems facing energy companies today.

Next week, the non-profit group EnergySec is holding a summit at Disneyland to bring some of the top minds in the industry together.

"It's one of the few places where you get regulators, utilities and vendors all in the same room talking about the same issues."

Stacy Bresler, Managing Partner at Archer Security Group

Archer Security Group is sponsoring the summit, as well as providing leadership for a number of workshops and presentations.

“It’s one of the few places where you get regulators, utilities and vendors all in the same room talking about the same issues,” said Stacy Bresler, managing partner at Archer Security Group.

"We’re delighted to support EnergySec’s mission of cybsecurity workforce development and information sharing for the energy sector,” said Patrick C. Miller, also a managing partner with Archer Security Group. "This event has always been one of the few places where industry, government and solution providers openly and honestly share ideas and collaborate."

Archer Security Group will also add to the spirit of technology and innovation by giving away two BB-8’s—Sphero’s app-enabled droid—as well as the app-controlled Ninebot MiniPro by Segway. You can stop by the Archer table during the event and drop off your business card or fill out an entry form. Names will be drawn on the second and third days. You must be present to win.

The EnergySec Summit starts Monday, August 22 and runs through Wednesday, August 24 at Disneyland.
